Cullum Capital Ventures has
announced an investment stake into Kent based broker Capital and
County. The business, with a GWP approaching £12m, has a sizeable
commercial account with particular specialism in the motor trade
and construction industry.
Tim Johnson, Chief Executive of CCV
said: “We have taken a strategic investment in Capital and County,
a deal structure which works well for both the existing management
team and ourselves. This is an excellent and well established
business and our ability to create a bespoke arrangement was a
critical part of the transaction.”
Roger Jordan and Nigel Hargreaves,
Joint Managing Directors of Capital and County, added: “We are
pleased to join forces with CCV as both a shareholder and a trading
partner. This will help take our business forward in terms of both
broking and financial strength, whilst using a very strong existing
local brand.”
Peter Cullum, Chairman of Cullum
Capital Ventures, is delighted with the latest member of the
growing family: “We have admired the management team at Capital and
County for a number of years and they have an excellent track
record and strong local presence. I am confident that CCV can help
the business to continue and accelerate its successful growth. Our
ability and appetite to create and fund tailored deal structures
continues to give CCV a real edge in the current marketplace.”
