Independent insurance intermediary, Cullum Capital Ventures (CCV), today announces the successful acquisition of AC Insurance Services marking its first of the New Year and its 49th since it started trading in June 2006.
AC Insurance Services is a successful commercial broker based in Harold Wood, Romford, run by owners Ann Charlwood and David Head. The business and key staff will be combined with Gardners Insurance Services based in Chelmsford, which joined CCV in 2006. Since then Paul Goldsmith, managing director of Gardners, has grown that business to an operating unit controlling £10 million of premium with a strong reputation in the region.
CCV’s chief executive Michael Rea says: “I’m delighted to announce an acquisition so early in the New Year, and welcome AC Insurance Services to our Group. Paul has built an extremely successful business since becoming part of CCV and I am confident that the addition of AC Insurance Services will make a significant contribution to the continued growth of our presence in the local area.”
